Job Description
The Director of Operations role represents a strategic position responsible for efficiently managing the company's operational activities. The Director will play a crucial role in optimizing business processes, ensuring the effectiveness of operational systems, and implementing best practices to achieve company goals.
Tasks include coordinating between various departments, developing strategies to enhance operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance of operational processes with company standards and policies. The Director will closely collaborate with the company's leadership to ensure synergy between operational functions and strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- Be a citizen of the United States;
- Significant experience in managing operational functions, preferably in large corporations
- Legal Acumen and Strategic Vision:
- Documented success in optimizing business processes and enhancing operational efficiency
- The ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a senior management team responsible for the Division's overall civil and criminal enforcement efforts.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective representation in court and collaboration with clients and stakeholders;
- Organizational and management skills that will assist in the development and implementation of procedures and guidelines to facilitate the effective oversight of Division investigations and cases.
- A minimum of seven years of civil litigation experience (candidates with ten or more years of experience are preferred);
- First or second chair responsibility in a minimum of three trials or substantial evidentiary hearings and experience managing large litigation teams.
- While not required, some experience in criminal law matters is preferred.
- Strong analytical abilities for evaluating legal risks, navigating complex legal issues, and anticipating future trends.
- Adaptability to evolving legal landscapes and changing business needs.
- Deep understanding of industry standards and policies regulating operational processes.
- Significant experience working with expert witnesses.
Salary
Salary will range from $100-$150K per annum, commensurate with current salary and experience.
Travel
Domestic and International travel may be required.
